Clonakilty Single Grain Bordeaux Finish 70cl

Clonakilty is a new distillery located on the west coast of Ireland, on the Wild Atlantic Way. Whilst they wait for theirown spirit to mature they are sourcing premium whiskey and finishing it in interesting casks. This is a Single Grain whiskey expression, using a premium 9-year-old grain finished in Bordeaux casks. This process allows the whiskey to absorb both the colour and sweetness of the Bordeaux giving flavours of strawberries, honey and wood spice.
