El Ultimo Almond liqueur is a blend of the El Ultimo Blanco tequila (itself considered a premium product made with 100% Blue Weber agave) and blended with real almonds and other flavorings. El Ultimo Agave Almond Tequila liqueur appeared in the 2010 Beverage Testing Institute ratings, who claimed it had a “nice penetrating almond flavor.” They followed it up in 2011 by saying it would be “A vibrant cocktail ingredient.”

El Ultimo Agave Almond Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Clearly the peculiar aroma of the almonds stands out above other identification aromatic taste. Very slight character of tequila can be seen, but there is no impact of alcohol; the sweetness of agave nectar is perceived.

Palate: There is confirmation of almond aromaticity; the sweetness of agave nectar, almond flavor and character of tequila in harmony is perceived, which produces a very pleasant taste.

Finish: The finish is nice and average in duration.
